Welcome to B.C.!

Let me show you around British Columbia - The Best Place on Earth - and I'm fortunate enough to live here! I emigrated from England in 2004, and - according to dad - it wasn't too difficult to do so.

Go to the "Where is British Columbia" page to see a map of British Columbia, and the surrounding area. British Columbia Transit and British Columbia Ferries can be found in the "Travel and Transport" page.

Vancouver, British Columbia is the main gateway into this magnificent, diverse, natural paradise in Canada. Both Vancouver and Whistler - also known as Whistler-Blackcomb, are premier destinations for skiers, snowboarders and for other people who enjoy the sights of nature. Victoria is also a must-see destination on Vancouver Island. You may see the phrase ''Super Natural British Columbia' in the travel brochures; that sums British Columbia up in a nutshell. This particular site can show you just how much there is to see, and do here. Whistler-Blackcomb has been voted the premier ski and golf destination in North America.

The typical British Columbia Weather is quite predictable, and we have all four seasons. The summers are warm, and the winters are mild in the southwestern areas of the province. The huge heatsink properties of the Pacific Ocean stabilize the temperatures. In Winter, snow can nearly always be found at higher altitudes, perfect for skiing, snowboarding, and other Winter sports. Vancouver was recently the host for the Olympic Winter games, many of the millions of visitors were impressed with the beautiful vista from the Olympic Venues. Many of them said that they would definitely be returning to vacation here in the future.

Landscapes slope from sea-level to mountain peaks, and terrain varies from lush forest to sandy desert. Sea to sky, and forest to desert - we have everything. We even have crystal clear waters for scuba-diving, and warm lakes for swimming.

You have to come and see British Columbia!
